TENTH BALKAN MINERAL PROCESSING CONGRESS

The Tenth Balkan Mineral Processing Congress (BMPC), chaired by Prof. Dr. Lubomir Kuzev, was held in Varna, Bulgaria, from June 15 to 20, 2003. The major theme of the congress was “Mineral Processing in the 21st Century.”

Participants from 25 countries presented 165 papers. Of these, 71 were authored by Bulgarian researchers, and 72 came from authors in other Balkan countries. The official languages of the congress were Bulgarian and English, with simultaneous translation into Russian.

The congress program also featured six technical excursion tours.
