TWELFTH BALKAN MINERAL PROCESSING CONFERENCE

Another Balkan countryโ€”Greeceโ€”hosted the BMPC for the first time, 34 years after the initial gathering of enthusiastic mineral processing engineers who laid the foundation for what BMPC is today. The seed of BMPC was planted in Greece back in 1971, and over three decades later, it had grown into a flourishing institution. Greek representatives actively participated in previous BMPC events and contributed significantly to their successโ€”most notably Prof. Dr. Georgios Anastassakis, who served as chairman of the Twelfth BMPC, held in Delphi from June 10 to 14, 2007.

The congress welcomed 191 participants from 23 countries. A total of 240 papers were submitted, with 81 selected for oral presentation. All papers were published in the Proceedings of the Twelfth Balkan Mineral Processing Congress.
