THIRTEENTH BALKAN MINERAL PROCESSING CONGRESS 
“THE WORLD’S SUSTAINABLE AND ECOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT” 

The Congress took place in Bucharest, Romania, from 14 to 17 June 2009, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Sanda Krausz. 

The number of authors was 369, from 27 countries. The total number of papers was 152. The presence of Balkan countries dominated with 113 papers. A significant number of papers (17) were completed and presented as a result of the collaboration between specialists from different countries, which was certainly facilitated by the numerous meetings held during Balkan congresses and other international scientific events.
