SIXTH BALKAN MINERAL PROCESSING CONFERENCE

The Sixth Balkan Mineral Processing Conference (BMPC) was held in Ohrid, Macedonia, from September 18 to 22, 1995, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. M. Nikolovski. The conference featured 10 plenary sessions during which 75 papers were presented.

Participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Turkey, and Serbia delivered presentations, along with contributions from non-Balkan countries including Australia, England, Germany, Slovakia, and Sweden. A total of 143 participants attended the congress. All papers were published in the conference proceedings in English.

Following the conference, a technical excursion was organized to visit the open-pit and flotation plant of the Buchim Copper Mine.
